awe-inspiring moments – gifts of the season

There is something beautiful to be said, about Monday mornings. We all enter business of the week with different anticipations.  Since I initiated this blog, and a step back into the commitment of writing every Monday morning, it manifests into yet another ‘guide to living an awesome life’: lessons that somehow come through me and bring me peace and joy.  (Um - perhaps a book in the making?.?)

Sitting here, inviting in the idea, Mike checks his phone, seeing photos from yesterday getting populated into his Google account – and I then see my own post – ‘awe-inspiring moments’ – gifts of the season.

Beach House: Bradenton Beach, FL

I can’t even remember the circumstance this past week where once again, I needed to bridge my spiritual consciousness into business terms – encouraging a client to ‘trust that little voice inside’, as one of the, and a significant guiding tool to driving business results.  We all have this ‘knowing’, and allow our intellectual or ‘socialized-self’ to override it – often yielding discord or disharmony, which has the potential to spiral into a dark place.  Many of us muffle or silence it completely with blanketed layers of unresolved emotional baggage.

As much as my husband adores and thrives on “us”, when something is off, I cannot move forward until I ‘get clean and clear’, like the roar of a waterfall, crystal clear flowing frosty white. This behavior is especially painful for Mike - who is motivated by conflict avoidance. Blazing the trail through is what strengthens us – and we both are amazed at the miraculous resolve on the other side.

I have always had this ‘knowing-ness’ and am clear that the blessings of success and happiness come from trusting in that inner-voice, even more so now.  Each time I do – the ROI is amazing.  Within the past two days, it has brought healing to a stranger and transitioned an avoidance-based family relationship into hugs, and along the way opened a door to a possible investment opportunity.

Trust: to some an intellectual and emotional decision, to others it’s faith-based.

The gifts of the season are these – listen to that voice inside you, know that when you are clean and clear, your actions vibrate, opening hearts, rippling into visions, and allowing for the beauty of an awe- inspiring sunset to become alive in those you touch.

Calleigh, Mike, and I wish you a joyous and safe Holiday season. Best wishes for a fulfilling and prosperous 2018.  May you move toward new-found joy in relationships, and receive the blessings of success as you open the doors for a mindful and joyful life.

See you in the New Year.
